October In January - by Brad

Here is my attempt to catch up on several months of blog neglect. I decided to start going through my pictures and choosing the best ones from October. Maybe I will get around to November and December in the next couple weeks.

We have more pictures of Spencer right now because he is always hanging around Lindsey and I. He plays with his brothers, but his attention span for them isn't very long. He would rather hang around with his parents and get into everything around them.

Every time I go to the garage or outside to work on something, he wants to follow me. When I cleared our irrigation lines, he wanted to help, but he didn't like the noisy air compressor. I gave him some ear protection, but he had more fun playing with them than using them...

The boys celebrated Aunt Gail's birthday by making her a banner and emailing the picture to her down in Papua New Guinea...

We also celebrated my grandmother's 99th birthday!

Then comes Halloween and carving pumpkins...

One of my rules is that if you want to carve a pumpkin, you have to clean it out and get your hands goopy. Wesley doesn't like that rule, but since I am stronger than he is, he gets his hands goopy too...

He eventually liked it... kind of...
