One of the evenings while strolling the beach, Mike spotted something rolling out in the surf. It was a SHARK! Of course we had to run out and get closer. It was only about 3 feet long, but it was still alive (although mortally wounded). The kids (and the adults) had a blast getting close to it and touching it. Apparently it was a Salmon Shark which is closely related to the Great White and Mako sharks. This was definitely the highlight of the trip!

Very cool! I will not take offense that Pearrygin is the anchor highlight of your summer...although I am tempted. This was a really great trip! it is fun to see our kids growing up together and playing so nicely! Jack and Katie certainly love the Posenjaks!
Okay, okay, the main reason I used the term "anchor" in the previous post was because I knew Lincoln City would be the HIGHLIGHT of the summer, but since we dropped the ball last year on our annual Lincoln City excursion, the only "anchor" we have had the last several years has been Pearrygin. Sorry dude, but we have to be more consistent! We better start planning for next year!
Great pictures!! Our grandchildren love the blue beach house. Great memories are made in Lincoln City!! So glad you made lots of them (:
