1998 Audi A6 Quattro Wagon
This was really Lindsey's car, but she finds this series a little boring, which probably most everyone else does as well. Nonetheless, I started something and my mind just won't let me leave it incomplete... only a couple more to go.
With two kids and only the thought of a third, we decided that we needed something with a few more seats than the Jeep or the Pontiac, but we weren't ready to make the move to the van yet. The Audi had a flip-down back seat so it could technically fit seven people. Although the extra seats came in handy a few times, in reality it was not an adequate substitute for a van... especially when we had to open the trunk to take the kids out of the car.
The Audi was a very well made vehicle, but we found that nobody in Wenatchee is any good at working on foreign vehicles. We have no European car dealers in Wenatchee and we didn't have much luck with the local foreign service shops.
Lindsey still misses her Audi, although she will admit that our current vehicle is more practical. She will always have a place in her heart for all vehicles European.

Okay, I'm ready for a post about Wesley's 5th birthday. :-)
I remember the excitement about this car, for sure. This one must have been one of the shortest owned, right?
