Concert and AWANA Awards - by Brad

Elliott has only 10 more school days until he finishes kindergarten. Last Wednesday, the kindergarten classes had an ocean-themed concert. I would post the video but it is long, Elliott is very serious when he performs in front of people, and we didn't get video of the kid falling off the risers, so it's one of those videos that no one will really enjoy for another 10 or 20 years. Anyway, the kids made their own shirts... they must have used stencils or something. Elliott's has a green octopus. He is standing right below the two bigger kids toward the top right of the picture.

The following night, we had the AWANA awards night. Elliott finished his first year of Sparks, Wesley finished his first year of Cubbies, and Lindsey finished her first year as the Cubbies co-director.

Wesley receiving his award... even though the girl next to him is reaching for it...

Elliott with his award for passing his first book...

I love AWANAS! I have fond memories of our own experience there--it's where I accepted Jesus into my heart. Good job Elliot and Wes!
