Rookie - by Brad

Last night was Elliott's first tee-ball game. He is on the Crushers... well, the sponsor is "Highgate House Assisted Living"... nice... so they call themselves the Highgate Crushers.

Tee-ball with 5 and 6 year-olds is quite humorous. Most of the kids don't really know what they are doing, so it ends up being a bunch of kids chasing the ball aimlessly.

Lindsey could probably describe some of the hilarious situations, but I will just post a video and a couple pictures (thanks Amy for the use of your camera while ours is broken).

Yeah! Trent and I were both cheering for him while we watched. How fun is that? Those little t-shirts look huge on those guys! Did they borrow them from the assisted living facility?

Yeah, I am not sure what they were thinking with those shirts. It's probably large enough for me to wear. Over half of his shirt is tucked into his pants.

In keeping with Jen T.'s "delurking" blog post, I thought I'd leave a comment on your blog. I'm one of Jen's friends from highschool and followed the link...your fam is adorable and since we'll be adding our 3rd kiddo in December, I'm sure I'll be checking in much more to see how it's done!:)
