Field Trip - by Linz

Elliott's pre-school class to a trip to the wheat fields on Badger Mountain last week. They gathered wheat and then took it back to the school and pounded it (by putting it in bags and throwing at the playhouse) to make bread. They also made their own butter. It was "B" week at school. Needless to say he has a very creative teacher!

Anyway, the kids were cute in their huge gloves and the setting was beautiful so I thought I would share a few photos.

What a beautiful place to take pictures. I'm jealous! I'm not used to seeing that much green around Wenatchee.

Elliott sure looks like he's having fun with his classmates!

Maybe when you and Becky come up we can take a drive up there. I am sure you would get some great shots!

How fun! Looks like there are a lot of boys his age in the class. Is he getting used to the new routine? Becky mentioned he gets a little nervous with change. :)

These are so much fun to see! I love the 4th one down especially- he looks so happy. Sounds like he has a great teacher- pounding wheat on a playhouse- I don't think I could do it. I bet the kids loved it.
