This video was actually taken in February, but I took it in several sections and hadn't found the right program to splice them together until now.
Elliott and Wesley were pretending to go on a rescue mission. Elliott found my ski goggles and Wesley pulled out a pair of toy goggles and a hat that was too small for him... these help aid the oddity of the video.
My favorite part is where Elliott talks about his "Halo sword". If you don't know, Halo is a video game...Elliott thought it was really cool, but we made him take a break from playing it.

Elliott and Spencer Playing - by Brad
Elliott really likes to play with Spencer... however, he sometimes gets a little too close for Spencer's comfort. Here, Elliott was actually playing very well with his little brother. This is one game they both enjoy...

The best kind of conversation - by Linz
Elliott: "At preschool there is a science table and it just has all science stuff on it."
Mom: "Cool is that your favorite table"
Elliott: "No, I like snack the table best."
Mom: (laughing) Yeah, but what to like to learn about?"
Elliott: "I like learning about God. I love God"
Mom: (Smiling) "That's great Elliott."
Elliott: I already have Jesus in my heart! Now I will always love Jesus. I will never let go of my love for Jesus. Mom, did you say that prayer?"
Mom: "Yep, when I was just about your age I said that prayer with Grandpa Krueger."
Elliott: "Did you ever let go of your love for Jesus?"
Mom: "Never, I will always love Jesus"
Elliott: "Yeah, me too, forever!"
Mom: (Almost tearing up) "That makes me happy."
Elliott: "Yeah, that makes God happy too!"

Mighty (dead) Mouse - by Brad
This morning Lindsey noticed "signs" that a mouse was living under our kitchen cabinets and making "appearances" under our sink and in our pantry. So like a good husband, I drove quickly to Safeway and purchased one of every kind of mouse trap.
This evening we were watching a movie and suddenly heard a SNAP!
I ran down to the kitchen and sure enough, we got ourselves a mouse! It was a little grey mouse all lifeless and dangling from the trap. Lindsey didn't want to see it, but I told her that it was pretty cute... it really was.
Anyway, that was our excitement for the night. Hopefully there aren't anymore!

Fall Photo Shoot - by Linz
Spencer is absent from this photo shoot becuase I thought it would be mean to sit him on the cold, wet grass. Also, the camo hat is a recent gift from Grandpa Krueger, so it it featured in every shot!
Elliott looking quite grown up.
Yeah for fall!
"Elliott, look at that yucky stuff!"
I love you this much, mom!
What can I say? He's just cute!

Selected Spencer Snapshots - by Brad
I just realized that we haven't posted any pictures of Spencer since August 18th. Of course, he is growing up too fast. He is generally a very happy boy and I think he is falling into role of the youngest. We are probably babying him longer than the other kids, but isn't that what your supposed to do with the last child?

A Sticky Question - by Brad
Some scrapbooker or 80's sticker collector should know the answer to this question...
Is there a term for the discarded portion of a sticker? If so, what is it?
You know, the wax-papery stuff from which the sticker is peeled. The discarded shards of a band-aid. The backing for self-adhesive postal stamps. Does anybody know this?

Field Trip - by Linz
Elliott's pre-school class to a trip to the wheat fields on Badger Mountain last week. They gathered wheat and then took it back to the school and pounded it (by putting it in bags and throwing at the playhouse) to make bread. They also made their own butter. It was "B" week at school. Needless to say he has a very creative teacher!
Anyway, the kids were cute in their huge gloves and the setting was beautiful so I thought I would share a few photos.
