Pearrygin lake - by Brad

My parents have gone to Pearrygin Lake with their church each summer since I was in high school. This year was the first time we were able to make it up to join in on the fun. We were only up there for the weekend, but we had a great time.

In the evenings, we went into Winthrop to have ice cream and the boys played mini-golf. There was a hole where the cup was located on a little plateau. The group of adults ahead of the boys probably hit the ball over the plateau 10 times before they could get the ball in. Then Elliott teed up behind them and sank a hole-in-one!

There were deer all over the place at the campground. They would walk around the campground and one even bedded down for the afternoon by our camp site. It might have to do with the fact that we were feeding them apples...

Here are a few pictures...

Mmmmm... s'mores...

The first morning, Elliott slowly got into the lake. He has always been pretty timid around the water, but once he got used to floating around in the life jacket, he didn't want to do anything but play in the lake...

And Spencer enjoyed his time outside...

That video of Elliott feeding the deer turned out GREAT! Thanks so much for joining us this year. We posted a few pictures on our blog as well.
